Week 1 – Boost your energy with Protein
To get the most out of this months extra classes AND have great energy all year round my first tip is to eat plenty of protein. Adequate protein will sustain physical and mental energy levels, mood, balance blood sugar  and help reduce cravings. A healthy protein intake helps maintain lean muscle mass, bone density and a healthy body shape.

Berry Smoothie 
This smoothie recipe provides a wonderful combination of flavors and nutrition. The addition of tahini helps keep you satiated for a longer period than your usual smoothie.
4 large strawberries or ½ cup of blue berries
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 Tablespoon of Tahini
1 medium size banana
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 teaspoon of good quality honey
